BOOKING
Do I need to book in advance?
Walk-ins are welcome for the brewery bar, but we'd recommend booking ahead for sports simulator sessions and for tables at busy times, especially weekends and matchdays.
How do I book a sports simulator bay?
Book online through our website. Sessions run in 45-minute slots, with off-peak and peak pricing depending on the day and time.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, up to 24 hours before your booking time without charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a charge, see our Terms & Conditions for full details.
What happens if I'm late?
Tables are held for 15 minutes past your booking time. After that, we may need to release it.
SPORTS SIMULATOR
How many people can play?
Bays suit 2-12 players depending on the sport and group size.
Do I need experience to play?
Not at all. Whatever your level, there's a challenge to suit.
What sport can I play?
Rugby, football, golf, cricket and more, across a huge range of real-world stadiums.
AGE & ID
Is there an age restriction?
Under-18s are welcome when accompanied by an adult, until 8pm. After 8pm, the venue operates an over-18s policy.
Do I need ID?
We operate a Challenge 25 policy. If you're lucky enough to look under 25, valid photo ID is required for the purchase of alcohol.
FOOD & DRINK
Do you cater for allergies and dietary requirements?
Please speak to a member of staff before ordering, and let us know of any allergies or intolerances. Full allergen information is available on request. For advance bookings, please reach out to info@brainsoldbrewery.com and our team will do our best to assist.
PRIVATE HIRE
Can I hire the whole venue?
Yes, full exclusive hire is available, alongside semi-private options for smaller groups.
Do I need a deposit for private hire?
Yes, a 25% deposit secures your booking, with the full balance due 7 days before your event.
GETTING HERE
Is there parking nearby?
The Old Brewery is in the heart of Cardiff's Brewery Quarter, with several city centre car parks within a short walk, including St David's shopping centre, Westgate Street and the Capitol Shopping Centre. The venue itself doesn't have dedicated parking.

GIFT VOUCHERS
How long are gift vouchers valid for?
12 months from the date of purchase.
Can vouchers be refunded or exchanged for cash?
No, vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
